International R&B singer Chris Brown has been denied bail and remanded in custody by a Manchester judge over a serious grievous bodily harm (GBH) charge relating to an incident in London in 2023.
The 36-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist appeared in court on Friday, 16 May, charged with causing GBH with intent following an alleged assault that occurred on Sunday, 19 February 2023, at a venue in Hanover Square, Mayfair, central London.

Brown was arrested in the early hours of Thursday, 15 May, at a five-star hotel in Manchester after arriving in the UK ahead of his summer tour. His arrest was carried out by Metropolitan Police detectives, who travelled to the city to execute the warrant.
