Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to rescue five ducklings who had got themselves into a bit of a flap.

Crews arrived in one fire engine and used ladders to reach the baby ducks, who were stuck inside a chimney at a property in Hawthorn Park, Swanley, where their mother had made a nest.

The fluffy offspring where lifted out of the chimney and carried safely to the ground, where they were reunited with their mum.

The feathered family was passed into the care of the RSPCA, before they are relocated to their new home at a nearby lake.
