S rapper Coolio, famous for his hit song ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’, died last year due to an accidental overdose of fentanyl, as stated by the Los Angeles County Coroner

The rapper had heart disease and asthma and had also taken the psychedelic drug, phencyclidine or PCP, before his death.

His long-time manager found him unresponsive in a friend’s bathroom and declared him dead at the scene.

Coolio gained global recognition in 1995 with ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’, which won the Best Rap Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards and topped charts in 16 countries.
