A man has tragically died following a crash involving his e-bike and two pedestrians on Manchester’s Rochdale Road.

Jason Parr, 61, Dies on Impact

On the evening of 2 December 2025, Jason Parr, 61, suffered fatal injuries when his e-bike collided with two pedestrians. Despite emergency efforts, Jason died at the scene. The two pedestrians were rushed to hospital with minor injuries.

Family Heartbroken as Police Launch Appeal

“We are heartbroken and devastated by the sudden loss of our dad Jason, who was killed in a traffic accident. His absence has left a huge void in our lives, and we are struggling to come to terms with this tragedy,” said his daughter Samantha.

“It doesn’t feel real, and the shock and pain is overwhelming. He was one of a kind, known for his humour and could make anyone laugh, he was loved by many. My dad meant the world to us and will be sadly missed forever.”

Police Seek Witnesses and Footage

Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit continues to probe the crash. Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage to come forward.
