Victim Dies After Late-Night Knife Attack

Dequarn Williams, 25, from Cricklewood in Brent, is in police custody facing a murder charge. The charge follows a stabbing at the Turkish restaurant Vu Lounge in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

Police were called to the scene at around 11:30pm on Saturday, November 29, after reports of a fight. A man in his 30s was found critically injured and rushed to hospital.

Hertfordshire Police confirmed on Thursday, December 4, that the victim had died. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Police Keep Tight Lid on Investigation

Detective Inspector Lee Martin, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said:

“My thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this tragic time. I know this incident will have caused significant concern among the local community.”

He added: “Our investigation is moving at pace. A man has been charged with murder and remanded in custody. We believe this is an isolated incident, and there is no risk to the wider public.”
