Kent Police have charged an 18-year-old man with murder following the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old in Chatham. The shocking attack happened in a private home on Thorold Road in the early hours of Tuesday, 2 December 2025.

- Emergency services rushed to the scene at 3.11am after reports of an assault.
- The victim was found with stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the property.
- Two men were arrested that same day as part of the murder investigation.
Musa Hussen-Salih in Custody, Co-Suspect Released on Bail
On Thursday, 4 December, Musa Hussen-Salih, 18, from Greenford, London, was charged with murder. He appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody ahead of his hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 8 December.
The other man, a 32-year-old from Chatham, has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
