Chaos at Waterlooville Shell Station After Crash

Emergency services raced to Waterlooville’s Shell filling station tonight following a nasty collision between two vehicles.

Firefighters Cut Driver Free

Fire crews from Station 1 and Southsea rushed in with cutting gear to free the trapped driver. They had to remove the car’s roof as the driver suffered severe back and neck pain.

Long Rescue Operation

The driver was carefully strapped to a spinal board and fitted with a neck collar before being taken to hospital. The entire rescue took over three hours, forcing the filling station to close to the public during the ordeal.
