Sixty fire fighters tackling Wembley Industrial blaze

Around 60 firefighters and officers are tackling a fire in an industrial estate on East Lane, Wembley. The first two floors of a commercial building is alight. Brigade control officers received over 35 calls to the fire which is very visible. Eight fire engines from stations including Wembley, Northolt, Stanmore and Park Royal fire stations are at the scene. The cause of the fire is not known at this time. The fire service was called just before 7pm on Friday evening. Delays are also being caused to public transport as a result of the incident Stonebridge Park – Harrow & Wealdstone serve delays on the rest of the line due to an earlier fire alert at North Wembley.
