Police Nab Suspected Shoplifter

A Whitstable woman faces court after allegedly swiping food worth £550 from local shops. Laura Foreman, 29, from St Andrew’s Close, is charged with 10 shoplifting offences at the town’s Co-op and Tesco.

Series of Thefts Over Three Weeks

The thefts reportedly happened between 21 July and 15 August. kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police launched an investigation that quickly pointed to Foreman.

Court Date Set

Foreman was remanded in custody and is due to appear via video link at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 19 August.
