Man Arrested After Hotel Brawl in Ambleside

Police swooped on a 31-year-old man following an incident at a hotel on Lake Road, Ambleside, around 5:51pm on November 5. The man fled the scene and was spotted heading towards Windermere.

Suspect Nabbed at Windermere Pub

Officers tracked him down at a pub on Lake Road, Windermere, and arrested him on suspicion of affray and carrying a bladed article. He is now in police custody.

As police searched for the man, armed officers carried out a precautionary search of a train at Windermere station. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident.
