Fiat 500 Stopped After Suspicious Driving
Police halted a Fiat 500 acting strangely near the Dartford Crossing on the evening of Friday 17 April 2020. The stop took place at 5.45pm as the car approached from the Kent side.
Shopping Bag Holds £90,000 Worth of Coke
Officers found a plastic shopping bag inside the vehicle containing roughly 900 grams of cocaine. The haul has an estimated street value of up to £90,000.
Cash and Phones Seized at Suspect’s Home
Following the arrest, police searched the driver’s home and uncovered £12,500 in cash along with several mobile phones. The investigation was led by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
Man Pleads Guilty, Awaiting Sentencing
Marian Dinca, 26, from Ambleside Drive, Leicester, was charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, involvement in cocaine supply, and handling criminal property. He pleaded guilty at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 20 April and remains in custody ahead of sentencing.
