Police swooped after a man was seriously stabbed in Burley in Wharfedale on Sunday morning. The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was found bleeding on the street with a stab wound.
Three Held Over Attempted Murder
Bradford District CID have arrested a 30-year-old man from a nearby address on suspicion of attempted murder. Two 23-year-old women are also in custody, suspected of conspiracy to murder. All three are being questioned.
Ongoing Investigation and Appeal for Witnesses
Officers were called at 9.56am to the junction of Main Street and Iron Row. The victim remains in critical condition in the hospital.
Police have sealed off the area as inquiries continue. DCI Michael Cox said:
“This was a very serious, isolated, targeted assault. We have all the necessary resources in place to investigate what happened. We understand this will concern the local community, but urge anyone who saw suspicious activity near Main Street and Iron Row earlier today to come forward.”
