Unexploded ordnance found in Tangmere
Police responded Sunday evening to the discovery of a piece of Second World War ordnance in Hampden Place, Tangmere. A small number of surrounding buildings were evacuated and a cordon was put in place around the area while specialist EOD teams removed it safely.

At 7.10pm on Sunday, 27 November armed officers attended an address in Findhorn Street, E14 after receiving reports that the occupants had been seen in possession of a firearm. The item seen was confirmed to be a toy.
