Police Respond to Serious Incident in Talbot Green

South Wales Police have confirmed they are dealing with a “serious incident” in the Green Park area of Talbot Green, prompting a major emergency response on Sunday evening.

Residents reported a large %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% presence in the area, with multiple emergency vehicles and uniformed officers seen throughout the neighbourhood. A police helicopter was also spotted circling overhead for several hours.

In a statement, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% said: “Emergency services are responding to a serious incident in the Green Park area of Talbot Green. Please avoid the area. More detail will follow as soon as available.”

The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed. However, scene of %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% officers clad in white personal protective equipment have been seen arriving at the scene, indicating the seriousness of the situation. Photographs from the scene show numerous police vehicles and cordons in place.

Councillor Sarah Jane Davies, who represents the Llantrisant and Talbot %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_5%% ward, echoed the call for caution. “I have been in contact with the RCT leader to discuss concerns within the community. A meeting with %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_6%% Police and RCT will be arranged to address the recent increase in incidents. The police will issue further updates soon.”
