A 15 year old child has been stabbed to death In Hackney

A 15 year old child has been stabbed to death on Somerford Grove in #HackneyDowns, #N16. Scotland Yard say police were called just before 9.00pm. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene at 9.49pm. A second boy, believed to be 16, was stabbed on Shacklewell Road. It is understood that his injuries are non life threatening. The Met police have implemented a Section 60 Stop and Search power for the entire Borough in an attempt to prevent further serious violence. Police say no arrests have been made at this stage. Forensic specialists remain at the scene. Only a few days ago in Hackney on Friday 26th April, Joshua White, 29, (pictured) was stabbed to death on Frampton Park Road, E9. A 16 year old boy was charged with murder.
