Police have unveiled a CCTV image in connection with a brazen armed robbery at a Gillingham shop.

The robbery unfolded at around 2.30pm on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at a convenience store on Jeffery Street. Officers say a shop worker was threatened with a hammer and knife before the suspect stormed out with the till. The thief then fled along James Street, disappearing into the Dalton Street car park.

Kent Police Hunt Suspect After CCTV and Forensics Review

Following a thorough examination of CCTV footage and forensic checks at the scene, detectives have now released an image of a man they want to speak to.
