A Police cordon remains in place this evening (Wednesday, December 14th) around a block of flats on Kniightrider Street in Maidstone town after a person was stabbed earlier in the day.

The scene at Lilly Smith House, has been taped off since Wednesday afternoon.

Eyewitnesses and local residents reported seeing police dogs and officers at the scene which is in place at around 3.30pm

More details and information have been requested from Kent Police.
