Cyclist may have been struck in Portsmouth

Police are appealing for information after an incident between a motorist and a cyclist in Kensington Road, Portsmouth, this afternoon (Sunday, July 7). In particular, officers are looking to trace the cyclist who we believe was injured during the incident. The driver of the car took the cyclist away from the scene in his vehicle – a distinctive red and black Ford Mustang. The incident occurred at 12.14pm. Both the Mustang and the cyclist were travelling southbound on Kensington Road before the incident occurred. The cyclist is described as a white man, of slight build, wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans. His bicycle, a grey and yellow Giant mountain bike, was left at the scene.
