Driver of stolen Audi A3 arrested

Early on Friday evening (4 October) police were alerted to a suspected stolen vehicle – an Audi A3 – entering Brighton on the A259. It failed to stop for officers and prior to being abandoned in Queens Road it made contact with several parked cars and police vehicles. No one was hurt and the suspect vehicle was recovered. A man who ran from the scene was detained nearby and enquiries into the incident are continuing. A 30-year-old man from LIVERPOOL/" title="Liverpool" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="104365">Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of possessing criminal property. He currently remains in police custody.
