A Virgin hot air balloon drifted eerily over the Wokingham skyline on Tuesday afternoon before being forced into an emergency landing near Binfield, close to Bracknell.
Balloon Loses Wind Mid-Flight
The flight ran into trouble when the wind suddenly died down, leaving the pilot powerless to carry on. With no breeze to steer the balloon, a quick decision was made to land safely in a nearby field.
Passengers Escape Without a Scratch
Thankfully, all passengers climbed out of the basket safe and sound. No injuries were reported after the unexpected landing.
