Fatal Attack in Havant Home
Norbert Maiksner was found guilty of murdering Frances Obiefuleh at her Havant, Hampshire home on 16 April 2025. In a chilling turn, Maiksner was also convicted of child cruelty during the trial.
The grisly murder only came to light the next morning when Maiksner was spotted walking along the hard shoulder of the M40 near High Wycombe. When stopped by the police, he shockingly admitted to killing Frances and gave them her address.
Court Hearings Reveal Horror
Jane Rahman from the Crown Prosecution Service said: “Frances Obiefuleh’s life was taken in the place she should have felt safest – her own home. A family has now been left heartbroken following a senseless act of violence at the hands of her ex-partner.”
Rahman praised the police and prosecution team for piecing together a clear timeline to secure justice. She added, “Our thoughts today are with Frances’s family, who have been subjected to an unimaginable tragedy. We will continue to pursue the most serious charges in domestic homicide cases.”
