Police swooped on Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, after two men were hurt in a morning bust-up on September 27. A 21-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assault and are now in custody.
Major Police Presence on the Scene
Officers arrived around 12:46pm and remain at the scene. Witnesses reported a huge police turnout, including armed units blocking the road. One described seeing at least a dozen officers and a person lying on the ground amid the chaos.
Knife Recovered but No Stab Wounds Confirmed
A knife was found during the police operation. However, the injuries the two men suffered don’t seem related to stabbing, authorities say. The exact cause of the injuries remains under investigation.
