Police swooped on Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, after two men were hurt in a morning bust-up on September 27. A 21-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assault and are now in custody.
Heavy Police Response Shuts Down Camden Road
Officers arrived at the scene around 12:46pm and remain there. Witnesses report a massive police presence, including armed units blocking the road. One onlooker saw at least a dozen officers and a person lying on the ground amid the chaos.
Knife Seized But No Stab Wounds Found
Police recovered a knife during the swoop. However, authorities say the injuries suffered by the two men don’t appear to be from stabbing. The exact cause of their wounds is still under investigation.
