Man arrested after Teenager is Murdered at Caravan Park in Kent
A man has been arrested by officers investigating a suspicious death in Herne Bay. Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended a caravan park in Canterbury Road, Herne Bay following a report of a serious assault at around 2pm on Friday 21 July 2017. A woman aged in her late teens was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigating officers have arrested a 63-year-old local man on suspicion of murder and he currently remains in police custody. The victim and the suspect are known to each other and officers are continuing to conduct enquiries. A spokesman for Westlands Caravan Park, on the Canterbury Road, refused to comment.
