Man Arrested After Teenager Murdered at Kent Caravan Park

A man has been arrested following the murder of a teenage girl at a caravan park in Herne Bay, Kent.

Foul Play at Herne Bay Caravan Park

Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service rushed to Westlands Caravan Park on Canterbury Road at around 2pm on Friday 21 July 2017. They were called after reports of a serious assault.

Teenage Girl Dies at the Scene

The victim, a woman in her late teens, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Horrified neighbours were left shocked by the violent incident.

Suspect Known to Victim

Officers arrested a 63-year-old local man on suspicion of murder. The suspect remains in police custody as enquiries continue. Authorities confirm the victim and suspect were known to each other.

A spokesperson for Westlands Caravan Park declined to comment on the tragic incident.
