Police investigating serious collision in Sutton after man left with head injuries
Police are investigating a serious collision in Sutton Officers were called at 3.55pm on Saturday, 25 May, to a collision between a black Mercedes Vito van and a pedestrian in Central Road, near to the junction with Green Lane, Worcester Park. The pedestrian – a man, aged 40 years – was taken to a south London hospital suffering serious injuries. The man’s next of kin have been informed. Officers await a further assessment of his condition. The driver of the van stopped at the scene. There has been no arrest.
