Serious Crash in Sutton: Man Hit by Van
Police are probing a serious collision in Sutton after a pedestrian was hit by a black Mercedes Vito van. The smash happened at 3.55pm on Saturday, 25 May, on Central Road near the Green Lane junction in Worcester Park.
Pedestrian Seriously Injured
The victim, a 40-year-old man, was rushed to a south London hospital with serious injuries. His next of kin have been informed, but police are still awaiting an update on his condition.
Van Driver Stops; No Arrests
The van driver stayed at the scene and no arrests have been made so far.
