Eyewitnesses observed the unfolding events from their homes, sharing their accounts of the situation. One individual, wishing to remain anonymous, described the scene involving armed police officers at a house on Swift Road within the Oriel Estate. The witness reported the presence of eight or nine officers armed with guns, accompanied by seven police cars and three police vans. The stand-off seemed to involve a confrontation with young individuals who had positioned themselves on garden walls in front of the armed police. Subsequently, police dogs arrived at the scene, and the officers utilized shields and what appeared to be a large red key, possibly a battering ram.
