Blackshear Police Chief Chris Wright shared with UK News in Picture that Davis had been working to clear downed trees and power lines when the fatal incident occurred. “He had just finished helping the community when the tree fell on his truck,” Wright said.
The Blackshear Fire Department and the surrounding community are coming together to remember Davis, a man whose selfless service left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
