Fire crews called to Whitstable property ablaze
Kent Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene of a fire in Sydney Road, Whitstable. Fire crews were called at 2.08pm to reports of black smoke issuing from a second-floor window of the semi-detached house. Three fire appliances and 13 firefighters are dealing with the blaze. Sydney Road has been closed by Police to assist with firefighting operations. Driver and the public are also being asked to avoid the area.
