A man in his 60s has been rushed to hospital following a stabbing in Tottenham on Thursday evening, prompting a swift emergency response and police arrest.
Metropolitan Police were called at 7pm on 29 May to reports of a stabbing at Cooperage Close, N17. Officers arrived alongside London Ambulance Service paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance, where they discovered a 60-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene before being taken by road to a major trauma centre. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, authorities confirmed.
A 66-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and remains in police custody as investigations continue.
