Man Seriously Injured in Chichester Alleyway Stabbing

A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a suspected stabbing in Chichester this afternoon (Monday, July 22).

Emergency services were called to an alleyway connecting Exton Road and Kingsham Road at around 1.50pm, after reports of an altercation between individuals.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said:“We are currently responding to an incident in an alleyway linking Kingsham Road and Exton Road in Chichester, where a man has sustained serious injuries. At this stage, it is believed to have been an isolated incident involving individuals known to each other. There is no wider threat to the public.”

Residents have been urged to remain vigilant but reassured that the incident is not thought to pose ongoing danger to the community.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident.
