A Metropolitan Police officer was stabbed in the neck while attempting to arrest a suspect on england/hounslow/”>Hounslow street/”>High Street on Monday night.

Incident Details

Police were called at 21:53 to reports of a man carrying a knife. Paramedics arrived at nearby Bell Road at 22:18, and the injured officer was taken to a major trauma centre. The Metropolitan Police reported that his injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.

Arrests Made

Three men, aged 19, 28, and 34, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. The 28-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of three counts of burglary. All three remain in police custody as enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, “An officer attempted to apprehend a suspect and was stabbed in the neck. Thankfully, their injuries were not life-changing or life-threatening. He was taken to hospital and will continue to be supported following this incident.”
