In a precautionary move, the popular clothing brand Next has issued a recall for its “3 Pack Footless Yellow/Blue Zip Sleep Suits” due to a choking hazard. The recall comes after the discovery of a potential issue with the zip construction, which could lead to the zip slider detaching and forming a small part.

The affected product, identified by item number 514676I, is described as a pack of three footless baby sleep suits in yellow, off white, and blue colours, equipped with zippers. Manufactured in Bangladesh, these garments have been sold across various markets.

Next Recalls Baby Sleep Suits Over Choking Hazard

Concerns were raised when it was found that the zip slider could come off, creating small parts that pose a choking risk if placed in the mouth by young children. This defect contravenes the General Product Safety Regulations 2005, prompting the immediate recall.

Next has advised customers who have purchased this product to stop using it immediately and return it to any Next store for a full refund. The company has also reached out to consumers directly through its customer service channels.

Next reaffirms its commitment to customer safety and apologies for any inconvenience caused. The brand urges all consumers in possession of this product to adhere to the recall notice and take the necessary corrective action.
