Next Issues Urgent Recall Over Choking Hazard

Popular high street brand Next has pulled its “3 Pack Footless Yellow/Blue Zip Sleep Suits” from shelves amid fears of a choking risk. The recall follows a discovery that the zip slider can detach, creating small parts that could be swallowed by babies.

Faulty Zips Spark Safety Alarm

The faulty product, with item number 514676I, includes three baby sleep suits in yellow, off white, and blue. Made in Bangladesh, these footless sleepers feature zippers that may come apart, contravening the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

“We urge all customers to stop using these sleep suits immediately,” Next said. “Please return them to any Next store for a full refund.”

Next Takes Swift Action and Apologises

Next is contacting affected customers directly and emphasises its commitment to safety. The company apologises for any inconvenience and stresses the importance of adhering to the recall for the safety of little ones.

If you own these sleep suits, act now. Head to your nearest Next store to get your money back and keep your children safe.
