Woman Attacked with Glass Bottle in Brighton Underpass

A 24-year-old woman was struck on the head with a glass bottle while walking through the Trafalgar Street underpass in Brighton just after 1am on Monday, 30 May.

The bottle was thrown from the bridge above Brighton station, causing the woman to suffer a head laceration. She required hospital treatment following the attack.

British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. If you have any information about the incident, contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 50. Quote reference 29 of 30 May.
