Police Appeal for Information Following Attempted Murder of Man in Greenock

Detectives are seeking public assistance after a 60-year-old man was seriously injured in an attempted murder in Greenock, Scotland. The incident took place on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at around 6:30 PM within a licensed establishment on Cathcart Street.
Authorities believe several people were present at the scene when the incident occurred. We believe there were a number of people within the premises at the time and would appeal to anyone who was there on Tuesday night to speak to us if you have not already done so,” DI Beattie added.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them by calling 101 and quoting incident number 0962 of September 18. For those wishing to remain anonymous, information can be provided via Crimestoppers.
