Police Have Confirmed That A Couple In Their 80s Died This Morning After A Fire In A Property In Bangor's Dellmount Park Neighbourhood


The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, along with colleagues from the Ambulance Service, were reported to police at approximately 8.45 a.m.
Both a man and a woman were treated for injuries, but both died at the scene.
This sad news will come as a huge shock to the local community,” Superintendent McDowell said. “Our thoughts are with their loved ones at this difficult time.”
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire, and our officers have been conducting inquiries in the area. We would like to encourage anyone who has information that they believe could help our investigation to contact us.”
