Early Sunday morning chaos on the A2 has left a man fighting for his life and another arrested. kent-police/">Kent Police are pleading for anyone with dashcam footage or info to come forward after a nasty three-vehicle crash near Gravesend.
High-Speed Smash Involving Mercedes, BMW and Lorry
At 5:21am on 23 November 2025, a white Mercedes A45 AMG was hurtling coastbound along the A2 Watling Street. It smashed into a black BMW 1 Series, which then collided with a white Volvo HGV. The scene quickly attracted Kent Police, Fire and Ambulance crews.
Man Critical in Hospital, Suspect Arrested
The BMW driver, a 27-year-old man, was rushed to a London hospital and remains in critical condition. His family have been informed. Meanwhile, a man in his 20s was also hospitalised before being arrested for serious injury by dangerous driving and drink-driving.
