A teenage girl has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car outside North Kent College in Dartford this morning (September 13). The incident occurred just before 8:10 AM on Oakfield Lane, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
Officers from Kent Police and crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) arrived at the scene to find the girl, believed to be a Year 12 pupil at Wilmington Grammar School for Girls, injured. She was assessed and treated at the scene before being transported to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical care. Her condition remains unknown at this time.
Kent Police also provided a statement on the incident: “Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 8:06am on Friday, 13 September, to be made aware of a collision involving a teenager and a car in Oakfield Lane, Dartford. Officers attended and took details as required.”
