The family of Sam Bagley, a 23-year-old motorcyclist, is mourning the loss of their loved one after a collision on Wellington Road in Burton yesterday (5 October). The incident occurred just before 06.00 when Mr Bagley’s motorcycle collided with a lorry.
Despite the immediate response from paramedics, Mr Bagley was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Today, the family released a heartfelt statement remembering Sam as a loving fiancé, brother, and son, describing him as someone “always up for anything with a real zest for life.” The pain of their loss is evident in the simple words: “There are no words, all our hearts hurt.”
Staffordshire Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses CCTV and dash-cam footage from the area to come forward.
