The family of Sam Bagley, a 23-year-old motorcyclist, is mourning the loss of their loved one after a collision on Wellington Road in Burton yesterday (5 October). The incident occurred just before 06.00 when Mr Bagley’s motorcycle collided with a lorry.

Despite the immediate response from paramedics, Mr Bagley was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Today, the family released a heartfelt statement remembering Sam as a loving fiancé, brother, and son, describing him as someone “always up for anything with a real zest for life.” The pain of their loss is evident in the simple words: “There are no words, all our hearts hurt.”
