Emergency services were called to North Street, Hornchurch, in the early hours of Tuesday morning following reports of an unresponsive man. The London Ambulance Service alerted the police at 4.57am.
Upon arrival, despite the efforts of paramedics, a man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s next of kin have been informed.
