A vehicle fire on the A2, London Bound, near Bean in Dartford, prompted a rapid response from Kent Fire and Rescue Service on Monday, December 18, 2023. The incident, which occurred in the late afternoon, was efficiently managed, preventing any injuries or further incidents.

At around 5.40pm, emergency services were alerted to the vehicle alight on the busy highway. Responding swiftly, Kent Fire and Rescue Service dispatched two fire engines to the scene. The firefighters, equipped with personal protective equipment and breathing apparatus, tackled the flames using hose reel jets and a compressed air foam system (CAFs).
