A woman has tragically died and a man has been airlifted to hospital after a serious single-vehicle road traffic collision (RTC) this morning in Clifton on Teme.

Emergency services were called to the B4204 at 10:58 AM, with West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatching two ambulances, two paramedic officers, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene.
The second patient, a man, was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be cut free by the fire service. He sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.

The incident has led to the closure of the B4204 while emergency services deal with the aftermath. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
