Grant Ray admitted 12 offences, including robbery, fraud and taking a vehicle without consent, which took place between May 2019 and November 2020. The 28-year-old, formerly of Barn Platt, Ashford, was jailed for a total of three years at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 24 May 2021. 
The first of the offences took place in the early hours of Wednesday 15 May 2019, when the victim was walking through an underpass in Kimberley Way, Ashford. Ray and another man approached the victim and held him up against a wall.
