The robbery was reported to have taken place at a property in Brockman Road during the early hours of Tuesday 4 June 2024. A man was allegedly threatened by someone known to him and had his bank card stolen during the incident.
Following an investigation by East Kent CID, one charge of robbery was authorised against Michael McDonagh, of no fixed address on Tuesday 4 June. The 38-year-old appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court the following day and was remanded in custody. The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 8 July.
