A Met-led investigation has resulted in the conviction of Guy Mukendi, 39, from Brixton, who was found guilty of taking off a condom during sex without consent. The incident, sometimes referred to as ‘stealthing,’ is classified as rape under English and Welsh law. Mukendi was sentenced today (June 13) to four years and three months in prison.
On May 9, 2023, Met officers swiftly responded to a sexual assault report made by a young woman in Brixton. The victim had consented to sex with Mukendi on the condition that a condom was used. However, during the encounter, Mukendi secretly removed the condom without her knowledge.
