Cyclist rushed to hospital following collision
A man has been rushed to hospital following a collision in Newport this afternoon. The cyclist suffered a head injuries after being in collision with a Hyundai on Carisbrooke Road. The man was rushed to hospital by the Islands ambulance service where he remain in a stable condition. The collision took place just after 2.45pm on Monday afternoon. A Hampshire Constablary spokespersonsaid “The person riding a bike suffered a head injury which is not deemed to be life-threatening.””
