Cyclist Hurt in Newport Crash!
Serious Collision on Carisbrooke Road
A man on a bike was rushed to hospital after a crash with a Hyundai in Newport this afternoon. The smash happened just after 2.45pm on Carisbrooke Road.
Head Injuries But Stable Condition
The cyclist suffered head injuries but they are not life-threatening, say police. He was quickly taken to hospital by the Islands ambulance service and remains in stable condition.
Police Confirm Non-Life-Threatening Injuries
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “The person riding a bike suffered a head injury which is not deemed to be life-threatening.”
