Detectives have charged two people in connection with a firearms discharge in Hoxton – UKNIP

Adam Meragan, 24, of Sleaford Street, Camden and  Abderraouf Hocine, 18 of St Peter’s Way, Hackney, were both charged overnight with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Meragan was further charged with driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance. Hocine was further charged with possession of cannabis

Both are due to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 26 November.

It follows the discharge of a firearm in Hoxton Street, N1 at around 14:20hrs on Tuesday, 24 November. A man subsequently attended a hospital for treatment to a minor hand injury – he has been discharged.

Two men were arrested and charged as above.
